Made from a black tomesode kimono. Golden autumn grasses sweep across one sleeve, appearing once more at the opposite cuff. Within the solid black bodice, that is the only place where movement resides. The family crest is positioned on the chest, just as it was on the original kimono. Toward the top of the patterned sleeve, a hint of the hem design remains, with shades of blue and coral peeking through the gold.
Only one piece created from a single kimono. Each one is unique in pattern, drape, and texture. Features a relaxed width and a cropped length. Being pure silk, it has a very lightweight finish.
